2nd Annual Girls Clinic with Olivia Smoliga - April 11&12th
We are excited to partner with our homegrown Olympian Olivia Smoliga for a second year of the Illinois Swimming Girls Clinic! With her In Depth Swim Academy, Olivia is coming back home to work the girls of Illinois Swimming and this year we're growing - with 3 sessions, new workshops and an entirely new meaning from within.
With authenticity at the center, this event blends intentional swimming, honest conversation and meaningful connection - inviting girls to show up fully both in and out of the pool.
Location: Hinsdale South High School
Time: 3 session offerings!
Saturday April 11th
Morning Session: Ages 15&Older
Afternoon Session: Ages 11-14
Sunday April 12th
Morning Session: Ages 11-14
*Athletes must be registered participants of USA Swimming/Illinois Swimming club and have achieved a regional qualifying time or higher.
Cost to attend: $125 *Includes Illinois Swimming shirt & cap + custom Jolyn suit made for this event and GoSwim membership from In Depth Swim Academy.

Senior Quad Combined Long Course Challenge - *Changed to April 19th
The senior committee looks forward to the second Senior Quad Long Course Challenge, bringing the boys and girls together for best-on-best racing to kick off the long course season.
Location: Stevenson High School
Date & Time: Sunday April 19th Tentative 2pm Start, Meet start at 3:30pm
- Wave 1: Open to 2025-2026 Participants of the Boys & Girls Senior Quad Challenge
- Wave 2: Opens to Futures Qualifiers & Above 3/16 -
- Wave 3: If spots remain, open to state and sectional qualifiers
SENIOR QUAD LONG COURSE CHALLENGE APPLICATION
Junior Leadership Camp - *Changed to April 18th
A a brand-new leadership opportunity in Illinois Swimming.
The 2026 Junior Leadership camp was created last summer by our Athlete Leaders at the Central Zone Athlete Summit. Tasked with producing and presenting an idea to the USA Swimming Central Zone "Shark Tank," our athletes saw a need for a camp that introduces our rising 11-14 leaders to Illinois Swimming Leadership and Governance.
We have strong Senior Leadership and look forward to extending that to our next generation with this first event for rising leaders. Athletes are invited to an in-person session with both-in water team building and classroom sessions on leadership in Illinois Swimming
Date : Saturday April 18th (midday)
Location is TBA, in the Chicagoland & surrounding area.
- Wave 1: By Coach Nomination
- Wave 2: Open to all 11-14 rising leaders by Application 3/16
Age Group Select Camp -
For 11-14 Age Group Medalists at Superior Training Facility

AGE GROUP SELECT CAMP APPLICATION
Project LA - Vancouver
Project LA Vancouver is the third event in this progressive camp series leading our athletes and coaches to LA28, with a stop at the Mel Zajac Meet in Vancouver, CA
Top 44 Athletes (22 Female/22 Male) age 13-16 will be invited
- Wave 1: Winter Junior Qualifiers (qualifying times July 1, 2025-Present).
- Wave 2 (following Illinois Swimming Champ series): New winter junior qualifiers, then futures qualifiers by power point, prioritizing LCM.
*Selecting a min. of 2 of each age group/gender, with meet qualifying times. Age as of June 1, 2026
Senior Summer Trip
The Illinois Swimming Senior Committee is excited to announce the 2026 Senior Summer Trip!
An exclusive, four-day long elite training experience featuring two-time Olympian Olivia Smoliga. This is a unique opportunity to live and train alongside one of the sport’s best—gaining insight and elevating performance in a high-level, competitive environment.
Throughout the week, athletes will engage in both in-water and dryland training sessions, with conversations and sessions led by Olivia that are designed to challenge and inspire.
Athletes must be in good training shape and injury free to attend this training opportunity.
- Top 24 Athletes (12 Female/12 Male) Class of 2027 will be invited, ages 17.
- First wave invitations went out 3/20 to Winter Junior Qualifiers +
