2008 Central MegaZone Meet – August 6-10, 2008

8/8/08 - AWARDS & T-SHIRTS & PICTURES
All awards from Open Water and the Zone meet can & should be picked up at the Zone table as soon as possible.
If you ordered a team picture, you can pick it up at the Team Illinois table as well. If you cannot they will be mailed home to the address on your application. Thank you!
Zone T-shirt blow out! All Zone shirts are $5 each and swimmers have found that other teams will trade a shirt for a cap. Come and get them before they sell out!

FRIDAY AFTERNOON WARM-UPS - 1:00-1:30pm. Swimmers on deck ready to go at 12:45pm!
SATURDAY AFTERNOON WARM-UPS - 1:00-1:30pm. Swimmers on deck ready to go at 12:45pm!
SUNDAY AFTERNOON WARM-UPS - - 12:30-1:00pm. Swimmers on deck ready to go at 12:15pm!
8/5/08 - Apparel Information - For those swimmers who ordered Speedo Legskins and Jammers in the FS Pro in sizes 26 and 28 there is the potential that you did not receive a suit due to Speedo's inability to supply the Swim Team Store. Swimmers affected by this will have 3 options.
Option 1 - You can take the Speedo discount on the suit and wait for the backorders to arrive. You will receive the suit ordered at a later date, you will not have the suit for zones.
Option 2 – The Swim Team Store has brought in a supply of Nike Hydra Legskins and Jammers. You can substitute this suit at the same price as the Speedo suit and have a suit for Zones.
Option 3 – You may cancel your order, any charges will be refunded.

Relays - All relays for the the meet will be posted below, at the Team Illinois table at the venue and on deck for the swimmers.

Important Dates for the MegaZone Meet
- Hotel reservations must be made ASAP. (It’s always easier to cancel if your plans change!)
- July 28th, 2008 @ 12:00pm (noon) – Completed Application due to ISI Office
- Upon receipt and processing of application – Acceptance letters emailed
Apparel ordering information will also be contained in the email.
- July 29th, 2008 - All apparel orders must be made in order to be shipped to you in time for the meet.
- August 1-3, 2008 - A Zone table will be setup at the Illinois Age Group State Championships to accept entries from swimmers who newly qualify for Zones AT AGE GROUP STATE, or add entries and update times from swimmers already registered for Zones. Apparel will be given at the meet to new qualifiers.
- August 3, 2008 – At the completion of the Age Group State meet, Zone entries will be officially closed for any new qualifiers, new events or time updates.
- August 4, 2008 - Individual and Open water entries will be updated and posted. It will be formatted so parents and swimmers may print out only the page corresponding to their own events. Please check your events and entry times, if there are errors please contact Team Manager, Jessica Bogie at CoachJessica@comcast.net.
